Church Sisaket - 28 January 2018

We were invited to share the Word of God at Gospel Christian Church on Sunday 28 January.  As always, Jeddy translated for me (one day I will be able to deliver a sermon in Thai language).  Jeddy is only 16 years old but speak English fluently.  She was part of a school exchange program between Thailand and America where she spend two years of schooling in the States.  When she finishes school, she would like to study for a doctor - same as what her sister is studying for now in Romania.

It was a difficult sermon for her to translate (my fault though because I id not prepare the sermon in the easiest English to speak and I did not forward the outline of the sermon to Jeddy the day before). But Jeddy was awesome in spite off.  The Holy Spirit gave her all the words needed to bring the message across.

And so we welcomed our missionary friends off that moved from Ubon Ratchathani to Sisaket province.  We are so excited to take hands with these awesome people and start working together.

Sisaket Rajabhat University - 22 January 2018

It was a fun day at Sisaket Rajabhat University.  Basic English in Marketing and Advertising is this semester's focus for me.

I was surprised to hear so many students speak very good English and they are not shy to have conversation as well.

I pray that God will open doors for fellowship and relationship building with the students during this semester.

The Ubon International Gospel Church - 21 January 2018

After a very joyful home visit to South Africa, we (Marina and myself) are back in Kanthararom.  We are more then ready for what God has in plan for us (Frontida Outreach) in 2018.

This afternoon I had the privilege to preach at Ubon International Gospel Church on 'What to do when your faith dies'
James 2:17 'faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead'

To see and understand James's point- imagine he had said that 'a heart by itself, if it does not have a pulse, the heart is dead'

How can faith be revived?
1. Trust 'the Power' and 'in the Power' of Jesus Christ
2.  Find promises
3.  Pray over Promises

We would not try to create a pulse without reviving the heart. So don not try to create works without reviving your faith.

We blessed with a Christmas gift.
